Except for here most of what I do outside work is hidden away in my laughable uncoordinated source code repositories. I think and research game ideas, technology, whimsy in code, its just my way, almost any thing i decide to play with thats virtually based, get some bit of code chucked at it.

Recently I noticed that over the years I’ve accumulated so much ‘stuff’ that its likely to get lost (indeed I know of quite a lot that has just disappeared) and part of me thinks prehaps I should expose it and let it be free, prehaps the code ramblings of this madman might be useful to someone… prehaps a pschology study into weird freaks?

Some is in an engine form, another bit in my work in progress next engine. Some in SVN, some in GIT. There flash renderers in XNA c# and on iPhone v1, theres a 3D entity editor in XNA with a framework game engine to go along with it. A node.js MVC web server framework and a CUDA BVH thingymebob. Lightwave and collader frameworks, raytracer and texture space renderers and stuff I’ve probably forgotten I’d implemented.

Its all probably really badly coded, and be used by DOD and OOP fans as how not to program… I like it personally, its for me, by me and I’m clearly always right ;)

So what to do with it? Just open up the repos? Make a decent web site to help make sense of it? Not bother, as its just some ejets never finished work in progress? Try and make it more of a general purpose useable OS project, the current WIP bit will make a pretty good small game engine tbh also good if you want to work on some next-gen research…

Or of course just procrastinate and do nothing…

hooo hmmmm, thoughts on a post card…
