Milestones are fairly stressful, but tend to get more stressful the more senior the role you get. I basically get to run around like a head-less chicken, playing the game, seeing issues, going to see if somebody a) knows somethings broke and b) ask when its going to be fixed…

Repeat about 100 times in a few days and feel the madness creep in.

Anyway done for the next 6 weeks, now straight into the prepare tasklists and schedule phase of the milestone (techinically should be done before the end of the last one but never happens that way).

Sure making games wasn’t this hard in the good ol’ days lol… Home project wise I’m working on a few things that require the complex animations system I blogged about before and X file import. Haven’t been able to sit down long enough to really get to grips with it yet, was hoping to do it this weekend but had to work due to forementioned milestone.

Right back to work, I’m in the middle of lunch hour with nothing to do (its hard to ask people for task lists when there at lunch) and bored…
